We cornered another guy and forced him to take our [demo] tape. He called us back about a week later and just reamed me on the phone. 'You guys suck so bad. You have no direction. Why don't you take a few years off and learn how to play your instruments?' I was inspired by that, because it was just like, 'Man, if this guy hates us so much, somebody's gonna like us that much.'
