Hey Hey INROCKERS and Happy Holidays and an Awesome 2014 to all of you! Hope you all are well and are having a great new year so far!

Goo Goo Dolls are booked to play New Years Eve 2014 at the legendary House of Blues on the Sunset Strip, a pretty cool place to be for the Holidays, but that's only the last of a long string of Holiday performances we were asked to be involved in this year here in the US. I'm getting ready for the holidays here at home for a few days, but let me try to fill you in on our last few weeks, it's been a crazy month for sure.

We began with an appearance at the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade, riding with all of our equipment under a huge animated Chocolate Chef we rode on the Lyndt Chocolate float and waved to over 4.5 million people lining the streets of NYC as well as another 50 million folks watching on television sets around the world. It was 28 degrees Fahrenheit(way below 0c), and super windy, but we bundled up and performed our newest sing ''Come to Me'' on the television broadcast! Artists such as Fallout Boy, Carrie Underwood and many. many more artists were featured in the Parade as well as dozens of giant balloons of characters like SpongeBob and Hello Kitty!!!!! There were thousands of people involved in making this event happen, it might be the biggest thing Iユve ever been involved in, and it has a viewing audience second to only the annual NFL SUPER BOWL football game.

I caught a flight home and celebrated with a nice Thanksgiving Dinner with my family here in Buffalo, NY and then the next morning we headed to Rockefeller Center in NY to perform on network TV lice again at the Tree Lighting Ceremony with Mary J Blige, Jewel, Mariah Carey and many others to start the Christmas Season for New Yorkers and the millions of tourists who flovk to NYC for their holiday. And if that's not enough holiday cheer for one season we were asked to do the Hollywood Christmas Parade with William Shatner (Captain Kirk from Star Trek), Daughtry and Richie Sambora to name a few.

We then took a flight to Miami, Florida boarding a cruise ship with the American Rock Band Matchbox 20 (whom we toured with all last summer), we played 3 shows over 4 days on a trip across the Atlantic to the Bahamas. The ship was full of thousands of fans that chose to spend their vacation with us and they all had a great time! Both bands attended a ''Set Sail'' party on the main deck with everyone as we left and we also did a fan question and answer session on the main deck as well! On the last day of the cruise we took photos with every single person on the ship, it was a long, long session lasting over 4 hours with snapping cameras and many, many smiles, but we were glad everyone got a souvenir of their trip and a chance to say hello to the bands! The ship docked in Miami and we continued on to do Christmas Radio shows across the US with bands like the Fray, The Backstreet Boys and Avril Lavigne, who joined us onstage for a rendition of Iris in front of a sold out arena crowd in Atlanta.

I'll be coming to Japan this January for a trip to visit family, and a get a chance to fill up on my curry and our other favorite Japanese foods ! We will also be celebrating my daughter Hana's 2nd Birthday with a trip to the Anpanman Museum ! I'll fill u in on the trip and a whole bunch of upcoming GGDS stuff next month!

Like I said, have a great New Year and we will talk soon !

Peace
Robby!
