On Wednesday, Gutt performed three songs — “Dream On,” by Aerosmith; “Creep,” by Radiohead; and “Iris,” by the Goo Goo Dolls with lead singer, John Rzeznik.

“That was so awesome,” Gutt said about singing with Rzeznik. “Just meeting him, and the fact that he had a show in Chicago the night before and got on a private jet to be a part of this with no sleep at all and got back on a plane to go on tour. He didn’t sleep for two days because he wanted to be a part of it.”

Gutt said Rzeznik was gracious, caring and giving.

“He’s a huge superstar, and he wanted to come do that with me,” Gutt said. “It meant so much to me. I looked up to him for a long time.”
