"Something For the Rest of Us," the band's ninth album and first since 2006's gold-selling "Let Love In," is due in stores later this spring. The group recorded the new studio effort in its hometown of Buffalo, NY, and in Los Angeles. Producers Tim Palmer (U2, Switchfoot) and Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Paramore) both were brought in to assist on the sessions, along with mixer Mike "Spike" Stent (Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band).

"We pretty much walked in with the band we play with and made a record, which I think is gonna show during the live performances," bassist Robby Takac told Billboard.com in December.

"Originally, we were going to put it out in the fall and we decided to put it out in the spring instead, so we had a little bit of time to listen through," he added. "I think it really lead us to be pretty hyper-critical about what's on the record. There's a few things we want to tend to, so I think we're gonna get a great result."

"Let Love In" peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 in 2006, with lead single "Better Days" reaching No. 3 on the singles charts.
